2021 will be a challenging year for companies in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) that don’t have their data environments under control.

This report showcases the key issues ANZ businesses told us are shaping their data management operations in 2021 and beyond. It provides details about the growth in data, where it sits, the impact of infrastructure and workload sprawl, and the implications for data management in light of the challenging current cyber security environment.

Data points are drawn from a survey commissioned by Commvault of 280 businesses in ANZ in December 2020, supplemented with in-depth interviews with ANZ businesses.
