The software-defined nature of hyperconverged solutions helps simplify overall workload and datacenter management, allowing IT departments to place their clouds on-premises or in hybrid environments – or, in certain use cases such as Ducati’s, at or near the “edge” - as a strategy either to enhance or modernize their existing infrastructure.
