The global increase in the number of people working from home this year has resulted in a significant increase in ransomware attacks, a major concern for any business. 

To investigate where the weaknesses of the ransomware protection lie, Veritas conducted global research to assess resilience to ransomware attacks.

Some of the highlights of our research amongst Saudi companies are:

• 71% of the executives surveyed in Saudi Arabia are of the opinion that their corporate security is not keeping pace with the growing complexity of IT.
• 48% of all Saudi companies surveyed have experienced ransomware attacks at least once.
• Less than half of the Saudi companies surveyed have tested their disaster recovery plans in the past two months
