Realized improved processes, greater efficiency and reduced costs with migration to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Organizations are phasing out of legacy applications owing to the lack of functionality and flexibility. Microsoft Dynamics AX has evolved over time and has been catering to multiple customers across industries with new features and functionalities. However, Microsoft has announced end dates for Dynamics AX support (mainstream support end date by 2021, extended support end date by 2022) and focus more on Dynamics 365 suite of products.

A client of ours, who is one of the world’s leading chain of health and fitness clubs wanted to improve the efficiency of its processes with a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O upgrade. The massive volume of customization in a few modules was making their processes time-consuming and error prone. This was also creating a deadlock in business efficiency with degrading business performance. Another challenge was to tackle the high quantum of level 1 support tickets.

As Hexaware stepped in as the client’s trusted transformation partner, the primary responsibility that it took up was to migrate Microsoft AX 2012 R3 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This migration had to be accelerated and carried out before the premium support of AX 2012 R3 ended with minimal or no interruption in business.
