A research study by Oxford Economics, sponsored by SAP, has found midsize companies benefited from an interconnected business approach:

• 42% have reduced their costs and spending
• 41% of those with integrated talent and workforce strategies report improvements in customer experience
• 35% with integrated data collection and analysis tools say it has improved their decision making

Companies that are furthest along in adopting an interconnected management approach tend to report superior results in terms of revenue growth, customer engagement and employee productivity.
