IT infrastructures are evolving and becoming complex. First, there was on-premise, then we had the cloud, now we have hybrid IT, a transition that’s been accelerated even more by Covid-19.
The rise of cloud technology shows no signs of stopping. Before the pandemic, 30% of all IT budgets were allocated to cloud computing, a number that’s only going to rise as a result of Covid-19. In fact, research shows that 60% of businesses are planning to substantially increase their use of the cloud.
A hybrid estate comes with many benefits, but its increasing complexity also presents challenges. This complexity can only be mitigated through a comprehensive strategy that allows companies to unlock the benefits of both onpremise and the cloud.
