Building GeForce Now Private Cloud Networking Infrastructure using NVIDIA BlueField DPU

Learn how to implement networking security and isolation for multi-tenant private cloud infrastructure with data processing units (DPUs), while also optimizing Cloud Performance and Functionality. GPU-based applications like NVIDIA GeForce Now (Cloud Gaming) have stringent security requirements, while also being very sensitive to networking performance (Latency, Jitter etc.).

As a result, cloud networking needs to combine traditional benefits of Software Defined Networking (SDN) with minimal use of system resources and other benefits of SR IOV Networking. This session describes how such seemingly incompatible goals are being achieved by offloading both data and control plane of Bare Metal and/or Kubernetes SDN to NVIDIA BlueField DPU. Examples include acceleration of both traditional networking services like Stateful Firewall, as well as some application-specific networking functions. Audience familiarity with Software Defined Networking and/or cloud networking isolation and security requirements for GPU-based applications is preferred.
