The following report is derived from the outputs of a series of IDC Roadshows, created and executed in conjunction with Red Hat and Intel.

IDC held over 11 virtual round table discussions with over 120 IT executives across EMEA. Specifically, in South Africa (24 attendees), Kenya (23), France (6), the UK (6),
Germany (12), Austria (9), the Nordics (4), Portugal (11), Spain (10), and Italy (12), Switzerland (5).

The IDC Virtual Roundtables, were set up to discuss what IDC identifies as the three digital pillars of Open Transformation:

• Open Technology: How to build the technology backbone of your business based on open standards that enable your IT teams to accelerate innovation cycles
• Open Processes: How best in class organisations design business processes with an outside-in approach that enables them to adapt to disruptive change
• Open Culture: How open organisations stimulate innovation and experimentation and empower people to adapt to external disruption
