The survey found that for organizations pursuing an end-to-end IT modernization strategy, a unified platform not only offers better security, faster provisioning, and improved resource pooling but also eliminates porting costs. According to the survey, 65% of respondents said that a unified infrastructure platform would be very valuable or a game changer. From a developer and I&O perspective, such platforms enable a shift to the consumption of infrastructure elements as resources instead of products and technologies.
