Ideas fuel successful business But is your organisation losing out?

This flexible working is borne out of a desire to strike a better work-life
balance, and also to increase our output; research shows that only 27% of
employees had their best ideas at their desks. For others, this inspiration
arrived at the gym, at home, or in informal office locations like the break room, couch
or water cooler.

And yet despite this, many organisations continue to believe in “business as usual”,
investing in formal workspaces and traditional furniture that does little to facilitate
collaboration, free-form productivity or teasing out the best ideas from their staff.

If these organisations are to keep up with the accelerated business environment in
which they operate, businesses are reliant on contributions from every level within their
teams. The ones that rethink the way they equip those teams – and, in doing so, develop
an environment that fosters ideation – will thrive and survive as their rivals fade away
